Hi, I’m Patryk 👋

I’m a Taipei-based startup and venture professional focused on biotech startups, fundraising, investor relations, market entry, and cross-border innovation across APAC. Originally from Poland, I’ve spent the past several years in Taiwan working at the intersection of business, science, technology, and venture capital.

  • startup accelerator and venture capital work in Taiwan and across APAC;
  • biotech and life-science founder support, including fundraising materials, investor narratives, and market strategy;
  • cross-border business development between Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe;
  • early-stage startup sourcing, due diligence, and investor relations.

I graduated from Jagiellonian University in Cracow and later earned my master’s degree at National Chengchi University in Taiwan, where I was a recipient of the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship. This program brought together top talent from around the world, giving me the opportunity to deepen my expertise in political economy while building strong international connections.

My professional journey has taken me across multiple industries. I first contributed to the Taiwan Architecture & Building Center (TABC), focusing on business development, ESG investing, and digital transformation. My team was honored with the Excellence Award at the 2021 DIGI+ X TCA Global Digital Talent Awards for our AI-driven compliance solution using Building Information Modeling (BIM).

After that, I worked as a research assistant at Academia Sinica, Taiwan’s most prestigious research institution, where I analyzed U.S. government agencies and their decision making processes.

For the past 2.5 years, I worked as an associate at a cell & gene therapy (CGT) startup accelerator called CellTech Innovation. My role involved advising biotech startups on fundraising, market strategy, and business development. I’ve helped multiple companies navigate cross-border investment, particularly between Taiwan, Japan, and Southeast Asia. My expertise spans financial structuring and early-stage venture growth. Professionally, my goal is always to create value for everyone involved, whether it’s startups, investors, or strategic partners.

My strongest areas of expertise are venture capital, startup accelerators, biotech startup fundraising, APAC market entry, investor relations, ESG, sustainable finance, and cross-border innovation.

In my free time, I enjoy playing football and squash. I also love reading about emerging technologies, philosophy, and financial markets. When I’m not working or training, I enjoy traveling across Asia and discovering new macOS apps and productivity tools.
